I Create Music EXPO

The Recording Academy invites you to take advantage of an exclusive registration discount to the ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO, the first and only major entertainment industry conference 100% dedicated to songwriting and composing, which will take place April 20 - 22, 2006 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel. The ASCAP Foundation's 2006 Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop

Deadline: Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop; Los Angeles; December 16
The ASCAP Foundation's 2006 Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop is now accepting submissions. Geared toward advanced songwriters, the workshop will be held at ASCAP's Los Angeles office and, for the first time, will be under the guidance of music publishing veteran and Warner/Chappell Music Senior V.P. Judy Stakee as well as ASCAP executive Brendan Okrent.

The ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Awards, administered by ASCAP's Concert Music Department, are granted annually to encourage talented young jazz composers.
