2006 CONTEST TO BE HELD AT STUDIO WEST

SDSG's 15th Annual Song Contest will be held Wednesday,November 15, 2006 at beautiful Studio West in Rancho Bernardo.

The contest is a very popular tradition for San Diego writers, and offers a unique opportunity to hear a tremendous cross section of local work on one jam-packed night.Prize winners are selected by a panel of industry professionals in our LIVE . nal event at Studio West.Winners will be determined and prizes awarded in real time, an exciting prospect indeed. If you are a songwriter,or a producer or artist look- ing for some new material, Studio West is the place to be on November 15, no doubt!

The contest is open to the public. You may join the Guild or renew your membership simultaneously with your entry and take advantage of additional member discounts...

Submit your entries by mail. To guarantee entry into the contest, and to qualify for the early entry discount,songs must be received by SDSG no later than October 15, 2006.Mail In Entries are being accepted now. Up to 70 songs will be judged in the live Finals the night of Wednesday, November 15. If more than 70 entries are received before October 15, a panel of judges will pre-screen and select the 70 top songs for the Finals.

If space permits, SDSG may accept additional entries before and on the night of the Final. However, pre-registration by mail is encouraged to guarantee your entries will be accepted. Please see the 2006 Contest Rules and Entry Form for complete details.
