Annual Song Contest Announcement 2006

The San Diego Songwriter’s Guild announces the beginning plans for our upcoming 2006 Song Contest. Get your songs together and look forward to more details outlining the event. Submission will be accepted from August 15th to October 15th and an awesome ceremony planned for November 15th! Stay tuned by checking the website and your email regarding the full details soon!

Phone Chat with our Adopt-a-Shop pros from Nashville Kerry and Lynn Gillespie Chater.

Kerry Chater and Lynn Gillespie Chater - Adopt-a-Shop pro mentors for San Diego, founding member of Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, #1's "You Look So Good in Love" by George Strait and "I.O.U." by Lee Greenwood, Jessica Andrews cut, and many, many others.

Bring song(s) for critique session on CD or cued tape, or play live. Bring 10-15 copies of typed lyric sheets. NSAI members' songs are critiqued first. Non-members
may receive song critiques if time allows. Non-members may attend two meetings at no charge, then $10/meeting/person.

Join the San Diego Music Community, along with panelists from ASCAP, BMI and more, as the San Diego Music Foundation presents "The Business of Songwriting and Publishing" on July 22, 2006. Admission is free to all San Diego based musicians, on a first come, first served basis.
