TV Series Seeking Songwriters
The primetime series Making It Big is seeking talented young songwriters ready to lay it on the line for the career break of a lifetime.
In each episode of this dynamic series, three hopefuls from across North America face the toughest challenge of their young careers as they vie for rewards money can’t buy – mentoring by the icons of their industry who will help rocket their careers to the top.
“Making It Big was the best experience of my life. This past summer I produced my first million-dollar wedding.” Nicki - Wedding Planner episode winner Last season’s Fashion Design winner flew to New York where his work was displayed in the window of Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store.

Janet Snare Wins Song Contest
Janet Snare won the HISTORY LYRIC OF THE YEAR for "The Ballad of Crazy Horse" from the International Narrative Song Contest in Canada.

SAN DIEGO SONGWRITER RECOGNIZED BY INTERNATIONAL CONTEST
San Diego native Holly Steele recently received the honor of being named Winner by the Song of the Year ( http://www.songoftheyear.com/ ) songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners.
Song of the Year is excited to recognize Holly for her exceptional songwriting ability for the song Beautiful Wonder. Holly competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. When asked what inspired the song Holly commented that loving ones self and finding the beautiful wonder of what’s within our hearts, we can let go of the past, truly love others and achieve anything we want in life. Believe in your dreams and never let anyone bring you down. Find that beautiful wonder of what’s within!
Currently Holly is concentrating on her songwriting career while hoping to bring her songs to life by collaborating with various artists. Holly has written lyrics for multiple music genres including rock, alternative, pop, country and adult contemporary. Holly has received excellent songwriting critiques from producers, artists, managers, agents, A&R representatives and publishers. The winning song, Beautiful Wonder was critiqued by a Radio Personality that had this to say about Holly’s winning song, "The structure is truly flawless and the writing mechanics are perfect."
