Jimmy "Muffin" Yessian
VP Creative Affairs, West Coast Jimmy "Muffin" Yessian has equal talent in both business and creative endeavors.

A native New Yorker, Muffin moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s to pursue a career in music. He began playing clubs and hosting popular local showcases such as Billy Block's Western Beat, A Bunch of Damn Songwriters and BMI'S Songwriters Circles. He went on to produce and promote his own shows, including SESAC's writers' showcases and the immensely successful Neil Young fundraising tribute "Long May You Run," now approaching its 10th year.

Muffin began making trips to Nashville, and his songs came to the attention of some of music city's biggest publishers and producers. Before long he was writing with some of the town's top songwriters, including Gary Baker and Frank Meyers ("I Swear").

Muffin's ventures include touring America and Europe with his CD releases, and artist production and management. His songs have appeared on television and in films, and he is an award-winning video artist. He continues to host and perform at regional music festivals, major showcases and charity events.

Muffin joined Ash Street Music in the summer of 2002 in the dual roles of VP of Creative Affairs, West Coast and Songwriter.
