San Diego Song Contest Now Open for Entries!

The San Diego Songwriters Guild has established a tradition of excellence in the World's Finest City. Founded in 1982, the Guild serves local writers, artists and producers by offering access to established recording industry professionals in a variety of personal forums. Our meetings take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Mission Valley, and range from pitch sessions with publishers and labels, to educational seminars and discussion groups, to our annual Song Contest.

SDSG's 14th Annual Song Contest will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2005. The contest is a very popular tradition for San Diego writers, and offers a unique opportunity to hear a tremendous cross section of local work on one jam-packed
night.Prize winners are selected by a panel of industry professionals in our LIVE event. Winners will be determined and prizes awarded in real time, an exciting prospect indeed. If you are a songwriter, or a producer or artist looking for some new material, the Doubletree is the place to be on the 16th, no doubt!

The contest is open to the public. You may join the Guild or renew your membership simultaneously with your entry and take advantage of additional member discounts.

It all happens November 16,2005 at the Doubletree Hotel, 7450 Hazard Center Drive,San Diego.
